This made it very interesting to use overripe vegetables - twice. Each of them broke in 3 places, and that wooden "washer" is a joke. However, the idea is so clever that I recreated it using heavier materials. Great concept for keeping chickens happy and active; just not well done.

No matter how I tighten the wing nut won't hold. I've already lost one (bought 2) and can't find the right size replacement at the hardware store. Still looks good but it would be better if a few extra wing nuts were included in the kit as the chicks turning the hanging feed will weaken it.

I'm new to the chicken world (apart from my snobbish taste for nuggets). I found this out after seeing a video of chickens using them and thought it was funny! Mine love it when I put lettuce on top, which is a plus for me because I know they stay hydrated by "playing" with their food. I would recommend buying these for any chicken tender (see what I did there?)

This is a fun idea for your poultry. You can easily prick apples and other objects for your birds to peck at. The chain is very short (in the product description). And my chickens somehow managed to peck the bottom screw from one of the chains. A simple device if you can either extend the chain or have something short enough to hang for your flock.

Great product! My chickens love having their treats hanging from the spit and I love the fact that the bottom isn't covered in feed where it will pound and rot. The kebab is well made, easy to use, durable. I have had no issues with this product and will definitely be buying more for my birds. Easy to hang or attach to any cage/hutch, simple mechanism for attaching food to skewers. The bolt does not come off. Highly recommended!

Sweet fruit and vegetable skewers for chickens to peck at. Makes them more engaged and prevents boredom when they get stuck on the run. The kebab is strong, not thin. A cute little bamboo or wooden flower is included to keep the skewered treats in place. The only downside is that the chain that comes with it is shorter than I personally would have liked, it would have been better if it was a bit longer than the 18" that comes with it. Overall I am happy with my purchase and it does the job!

is such a silly simple thing but oh how my chicks love it. I found that unlike most posts I see where people say their birds love cabbage strung on these things. My girls completely ignored it. The salad was also overlooked. This applies to adult hens and roosters as well as young chickens. Tomatoes, on the other hand, are popular with chickens. It's nice to see how they discover the freshly hung tomatoes and then angrily peck at them. They love it! I hope to get them all to try other fruits…
