is such a silly simple thing but oh how my chicks love it. I found that unlike most posts I see where people say their birds love cabbage strung on these things. My girls completely ignored it. The salad was also overlooked. This applies to adult hens and roosters as well as young chickens. Tomatoes, on the other hand, are popular with chickens. It's nice to see how they discover the freshly hung tomatoes and then angrily peck at them. They love it! I hope to get them all to try other fruits and veggies, but for now, tomatoes will do. knows.)
