Essentials - Safety and Survival

This is one of those things that you get and hopefully never need. It folds tightly into a cute little pouch that fits into almost any emergency kit. Living in South Florida it's even less likely I'll have to use this, but there's still a chance, so I'll keep it on hand. Better to have and not need than to need and not have.

Pros
  • Emergency Blankets
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Tiny but good rescue blanket resource

I ordered this to add to my emergency bag in case something hits the proverbial fan. I hope I never have to use this blanket, but I'll be very happy if I ever need it. The great thing about it is that it takes up as much space as a deck of cards! It's amazing how small it really is, so I snapped a photo next to the lighter for perspective. Great little space saver but big protection.

Pros
  • Sports and Outdoors
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Security in wallet size

I didn't open it. I hope I never do. At 5" x 3" in the package it's just a tiny piece that gives me peace of mind. We've never had any problems, but we've visited many parks with limited facilities. This hypothermia blanket (which fits in the glove box but still stays in our stock in case of an emergency) is another insurance policy. I hope to find it five years from now when I sell this car and move it into the next undiscovered one so we can keep walking across the wide open spaces knowing…

In Southern California, many people forget to store their hypothermia blankets. But you'll want it if your car gets stuck in the Angeles woods during the winter months or you're faced with a natural disaster in the colder months. This Rescue Essentials hypothermia blanket works great. keep you warm It works out. The Rescue Essentials hypothermia blanket folds very small. Packs easily into a backpack without taking up too much space. Great duvet to chill out on.

More so than other standard blankets

ok I've actually tried it and it seems to work just as well as any other mylar emergency blanket. The only difference and why should I choose this over other comforters? It's large compared to the competition (60" x 96") compared to the standard (50" x 80"). The only downside is that I feel like these blankets let through a lot of air - in general - so it's best to wrap someone in it. Even at 60 inches wide, you're going to have a hard time getting a person all the way into this thing. Despite…
