It's hard to find LED bulbs that are as bright as the traditional incandescent bulbs they replace. You hit the target! Tip: I can tell you from experience that while the factory incandescent bulbs are clear, you want your LED replacement to be red to get that rich red. white LEDs wash out red lenses with an almost pink tint. This is the way!

These LED car headlights get better every year and iBrightstar continues this trend. A word of caution/advice: if you are looking for bulbs for your taillights or turn signals (as advertised) they may be TOO bright in the white spectrum. Instead, think of the same red color. I had to change - they shone through the red lenses of the taillights, as if I had mini (white) headlights in the back of the car.

I bought these for a 2007 Chevy Tahoe backup light. When I first plugged it in I thought the first one was useless because it didn't work. Obviously they're polarized so when I rotated it 180 degrees in the socket HOLY GOD these things are bright lol. They're like headlights, which is exactly what I need to see behind me at night in a large SUV with tinted windows. I'm a lucky tourist. :) BTW I felt heat from the taillights above and below the white LED but no heat from the taillights.

I replaced various bulbs in my car with LEDs and these bulbs were just right for the reverse lights. They put out quite a bit of white light and shine really well in dark, rainy conditions. You are great! Installed on Mazda CX-7 2011. I noticed that they are bright not only when the parking lights are turned on, but also when braking. Don't repeat my mistake. I bought a set of 7440 LED bulbs that were as bright as the sun, put them in the brake lights, and soon a friendly guy from the traffic police told me I didn't have high beams. What gives? Installed on my Subaru Forester 06, 4 bulb rear system. Build quality is good, I'm not an expert. My biggest concern was that I didn't want them to be so bright that it looked like my brake lights were on.
