🌊 IceCap K1-100 Protein Skimmer: Enhancing Marine Aquarium Water Quality Review

I love this skimmer, works 24 hours and is already starting to draw. And much quieter than my bubble mage. I have a 40 grower with a 20 gallon pallet. Great skimmer 👍🏻

No complaints other than it's a bit noisy so we glued on some rubber feet which helped a lot. It also works like a top and is fairly easy to set up.

Cheap structure. Came in with a broken leg. I have contacted the seller. No response from seller so I taped it back myself. Not very happy with the quality or customer service from the sellers. Would not recommend this product

The best skimmer for the money at Revain. I had an aquarium shop. I have this little skimmer in my 150 gallon tank. Its surface is so small that it fits anywhere. After all, it works better than large skimmers that cost three times as much.

Spend money, buy better. Instructions are not included. Try to guess yourself. After the company complained, they sent instructions to another skimmer with similar but not the same parts. I'm not a rocket scientist. Please provide me the correct manual for the device I bought. The bottom walls are not attached to the vertical skimmer/hold the pump in place. The pump turns off when you try to lower the device into the sump. The bowl of the skimmer continues to overflow and the contents flow back

I have been involved with reef aquariums for a long time and have had skimmers from Eshopps, Tunze and Avast Marine among others. This little guy is by far the best thing I've ever had. Extremely durable and beautiful with clear, white and orange acrylic. Dismantling is done by locking with four slotted screws. Good efficient skimmer, sometimes noisy, but frequent cleaning of the air line reduces the noise. The glue holding it together is weak, many of the structural elements will need re-gluing. After about 6 months the pump started to work irregularly. It turns on, lights up for about 2 minutes, then goes off for a few minutes. First, the recommended 6-9 inch water level is terribly inaccurate. Anything deeper than 3-4 inches will cause the skimmer to overflow at high speed. I was told to keep it at the recommended water level and let it overflow until it stops. Unfortunately, after 3 weeks of waiting, it did NOT stop overflowing. even had to raise it above the 6-inch minimum recommended in the instructions. I'm guessing it's currently at about 4 inches deep. Even at this water level, the skimmer will start to fill…
