Family Fun: Magic Sets & Accessories

So I bought this for my 9 year old son and he loves it. The surprise was my 3 year old granddaughter who loved it too. The children put on some magic shows for the family. So much fun.

  • Cord is shorter than others

Great for 6 years. Featured in Novelties and Gags

Nice gag box! The daughter is not very fond of magic, but she needed a small gift and thought she would love it. It was fun with her! Decent set of tricks, easy to learn, her 4 year old brother thinks they're great! We even caught her dad poking around after one of her magic shows to find out exactly how she did it. Not something I would buy for a kid who already has a little knowledge of magic, but great for a beginner.

  • Price

  • You could have chosen a newer model

Ideal for 7 year olds!

Very cute set for my 7 year old. He opened it immediately and within 30 minutes of watching the video 3 or 4 tricks came out. The box includes a piece of paper that directs you to their website and watch online instructional videos. They're pretty solid. He took a few tricks to school and showed them to the kids. they loved her. His favorite tricks are the ball in the vase and the crayons in the box.

Pros
  • Sturdy design

Ideal for children aged 4 to 8

David Copperfield, Harry Houdini, Penn & Teller. Add my kids to the list! My four and seven year olds are obsessed with magic and summoners so I bought them this set. The tricks are easy to learn and even my four year old could do most of them. You're convincing enough to fool me the first few times. We bought the set a long time ago but the kids keep pulling it out when a new audience comes to the house. Definitely a great find. Their favorite trick is probably the ball in the cup, but they…

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Small problems

I bought this item for my 6 year old son to do magic for his friend on his birthday. The product description contains codes for online videos included in the kit. When you go to the website to unblock the video, it says that the videos are not available online. What a waste of money and time. Now we need to understand how to do magic tricks from the book. This is a huge disappointment and an inappropriate description of the subject. this box is ok. 30 dollars. I would never pay $30 for cheap…

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

A great option for a beginner magician!

Bought for my 5 year old who was interested in magic. That's great! It seemed that every other magic kit was either so complicated it was too much for him, or cheap and ridiculous. It was exactly what I was looking for. Now he likes to show his friends his "magic show". The DVD is also successful. There are about 20 tricks, but at the end of the day my son seems to default to about 5-7 of his favorite tricks, so I don't think you'll need more at this age. Was also pleasantly surprised by the…

The perfect magical set for ages 4-8!

The perfect first magic set for young children. My 6 year old loves it. The tricks are simple enough for a preschooler to learn and perform, and the size of the props make them easy for little hands to handle. Even my 4 year old son learned a few tricks (not very convincing but he still loves doing it and we're still sick!). Some tricks are damn clever. The disappearing ball in the little red plastic vase is cool and the magic drawer can be used for anything! My kids love making hot wheels…

A good set overall but probably better for a bigger child

Bought this set for my son's 4th birthday. He loves magic tricks and showing off so this seemed perfect! Many of the tricks in the set appear to be of good quality and the DVD that comes with the set is great for the trick instructions. However, there were a few tracks that didn't impress me; the self inking image was difficult to manipulate (even for me) and tore up immediately. The picture puzzle trick is not that good. Also, my son had a hard time paying attention to learn most of the…
