Rottweilers allowed!

I had a door for my Australian Shepherd but then a Rottweiler came along who thinks he is a lap dog. The old door was fine for a puppy but too small for an adult so I got a bigger one. It was easy for me to install. Very durable, looks great and I know dogs love it too!

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Too long to wait

The best at the best price.

I bought two other brands of dog flaps, both large, the largest of the two was only 15 1/5 inches. This one is much more. My dog can actually walk through it. And it was cheaper. It was easy to install. Make sure you have a hacksaw blade that will go through, otherwise you will have to cut one side and then flip and cut the other side like I did. If you have a steel door, be sure to go around any edges you trimmed and sand down any burrs. You'll get better and you won't cut yourself. My cut was

My calico loves it - doors, gates and ramps

I have one for my bedroom door because I'm a crazy cat dad. Tired of the cat putting its paw under the door asking to come only to immediately do it again to let it out (repeat 3 times and you get the picture). It was fairly easy to install, requiring only a screwdriver and keyhole saw (got it from Revain for about <$20). Be careful if you have a cheap door like mine. I cut too close to the floor not noticing that there is an empty space 2 inches from the floor at the bottom of the door…

BRILLIANT! suitable for dogs

I've waited a very long time to write this review because I think that when safety is a concern, a product deserves a serious test drive. As you can see from the photos, we use this cat flap on a daily basis. Here's how we turned a sliding glass door into a cat-friendly, winter-proof portal. We built a tunnel and added this door on the inside of the tunnel. We laid it on its side to keep cold air from blowing through the sash - it's ugly in New England in January. The tunnel opens into a…

Great article. - Doors

I bought a size too small and I'm NOT a handyman so I was afraid of cutting a hole in my door so I hired a professional who charged $200 for it! The electronic door of this brand is worth the money. It keeps the cold and critters out, and there's even a customer support hotline if you have any questions. I was expecting the door to open by itself when activated with the key, but the dog has to push it with its nose. That's good, but it's a bit heavier than the ones that are just plastic panels,

  • Cool
