I replaced the cap after replacing the fuel filter, couldn't be easier. I especially liked that this cap is half the price of the standard filter cap.

Great product! Highly recommended. So many bad reviews. Mine worked great. You can feel the quality when you hold it in your hand. I don't know why Ram doesn't use this as a factory part!

My original plastic filter broke during a scheduled filter change so I needed a new one. This one fit perfectly, should have been from the factory, has only done about a thousand miles but there is no reason I will ever need another now.

This billet aluminum filter housing cover fits great and is much stronger than the standard plastic part. I'm much more confident it won't rip when changing the fuel filter given how tight they can be.

I don't usually write reviews. After reading the reviews here I was nervous about installing it. I encountered a fit issue that was quickly resolved when I made sure the cap matched the threads. If you're hesitant to install, don't worry, it fits great as long as you put it on straight.

I was skeptical based on some reviews. I ordered the black one because it was in stock and could be shipped immediately. It looked good straight away, aluminum I think, good workmanship and the threads looked clean. I was able to remove the plastic with large oil filter pliers as the hex head had snapped off. The new one lay down lightly and well entrenched. I used the same 28mm socket that was supposed to fit the factory plastic socket, but this time it worked much better.

The threads are VERY sharp and mine was dented and scratched. i will send it back Update: So I opted for a replacement rather than a refund and the second one turned out ok. The carving was decent and everything looked good enough to install. I just finished the installation and the lid screwed on well and sealed with no leaks. I will keep an eye on this and provide updates as needed. Let's hope the next fuel filter change isn't as complicated as a plastic cap.
