For its money this fridge has some great features and does a good job of chilling food - IF you use a few tricks. We just finished a four day road trip that left the fridge in the back of our minivan the entire trip to keep the critters out. To prepare, I pre-chilled the cooler in a home air conditioner overnight, then froze it with a layer of 11 x 11 reusable chill blocks on the bottom and three 1-gallon drinking water containers that I froze. I have had this product for about two and a half years and have used it on many hunting and fishing trips. Pros: affordable price. Wheels and retractable handle are convenient. Big capacity. A lightweight. Cons: Doesn't stay cold for long. Ice is not typically held for the full 24 hours. The design of the latch is not permanent.
