Does the job! good for coil packs

Ordered by these guys to replace my 2002 Civic. My car fired up, hesitated, even made weird noises, so I ordered them, installed them and the car is purring like a kitten again. Great thing, works as it should. Hope they last a while. Before ordering I hooked my car up to a code reader which returned misfires on cylinders 2 and 3 and you should do the same to make sure you don't buy anything you don't need. Delivered as expected.

BEST QUALITY AND SERVICE!

When researching the cost of four ignition coils for my 2004 Honda, I was surprised to find that the price of Honda ignition coils in Oreilys would have cost me $160 plus tax! After reviewing the Revain suggested by my son I was even more surprised but HAPPY this time because my cost was only $45 + tax for the same 4 reels! I found them to be of good quality and very easy to install! The service I received was GREAT! Thank you for the savings, quality and EXCELLENT service!

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Exorbitant Price

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY I guess and that's rubbish. 3-4 WEEKS PERFECTLY WORK, THEN LOW IDLE AGAIN. CHECKED DENZO SPARK PLUGS, THEY ARE OK, CONNECTED TO THE COMPUTER AND CYLINDERS 1-3 WILL NOT START AGAIN. RETURNS AFTER 2 WEEKS AFTER THIRTY DAYS AND WITHOUT SELLER SUPPORT. It says CALL WARRANTY INFORMATION BUT THERE IS NO NUMBER TO CALL SO I THINK YOUR MONEY. CHOOSE A BOSCH OR DENZO FROM YOUR LOCAL DEALERSHIP WHERE YOU CAN COME AND SOLVE THIS PROBLEM.

Fix this bug! - Spare parts

A beginner can replace them and save a lot of money. Replacing the ignition coils and spark plugs on my 2002 Civic 1.7L cost me $57 and now it's working great again. It's impossible to top this considering the store is charging $200 or more for this simple job. Took about thirty minutes because I had a problem removing one of the old coils. Otherwise it would cost half that amount to do all the work. I smeared a drop of dielectric grease on each candle, just in case. I can't confirm durability…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • So-so

Temporary fix (non-OEM = more headache)

When it comes to ignition components, buy OEM parts. They are specifically designed for the ignition/tolerances of a specific engine. Common parts are always successful or not. Sometimes they are made of good materials, but most of the time they are not. These coils were good on my 2002 Honda Civic EX for about 6 months then the misfires started again. I bit the bullet and bought genuine Denso coils (still cheaper from Revain than the dealer or local auto parts store) and the problem was…

Perfect for my 2003 Honda Civic LX 1.7L

My 2003 Honda Civic LX 1.7L had starting problems for several months. It starts when it wants. Price verified with AutoZone, OReillys and Advance Auto. All cost $50-60 for ONE! It was a lot. Around 7am this morning I got into my car to pick up my boyfriend from work and it wouldn't start. It usually starts after a few tries, but it doesn't work. Sooo glad the ignition coils arrived at around 330p today and I was able to easily change them along with the spark plugs. After installation, which…

So far so good Coil packs are the best

I'll update this review while I own my 2004 Civic (which god willing will be switching to a newer car soon ;) ) . My Civic 1.7 has a terrible head gasket problem, causing its two inner cylinders to leak excess pressure into the coolant jacket when hot under load. It's almost non-existent, but telltale signs include a slight oily sensation when opening the radiator cap and a build-up of extra coolant in the expansion tank (also watch out for air gurgling in the hot heater core). I've had this…
