Hope I never have to use it.

Haven't used yet and don't expect to. The concept feels valuable and easily accessible, attached to the back of a closet door.

fiberglass dense weave; does not ignite when ignited.

Seems good. Fiberglass is a very tight weave and will not burn when tested with a propane torch along the cut edge. I use them to cover the lithium batteries in my RV in hopes they will put out any fire that starts in the battery.

Crazy people. in safety and survival

I'm going to the dock. And my friend drove. The car ahead caught fire. Men ran around with chemicals trying to figure out what to do. I reached back and handed the cop a fire blanket. Pulled it out and lit it. No walking, no chemicals, no reading, just drop it. Gentlemen, honestly, take something.

This is a safe method of extinguishing a fire if it gets on your clothing. very safe if a fire should break out. I also keep one in my car for emergencies. Think safety for yourself or a family member first!

Great idea and easy to store away for easy use!

I hope I never need this fire blanket, but what a great idea! I love the fact that I can put a little hanger over the back of a door in a kitchen pantry or closet, hang this on it and if something happens that requires it I just have to open the door and pull out the door. black cords! Reasonably priced too!

There are several different brands of these fire blankets, all made in China and sold by different suppliers. Most likely, this is the same ceiling, made at the same Chinese factory. There are different sizes and different prices. I chose this one as I only needed two and $21 for two was a fair price. Will they work? I hope so, as I haven't tested his ability to suppress fire.
