This little ring solved a simple problem for my Mini and I. The chrome ring supplied as standard broke and the key fob could no longer sit securely in the ignition lock. On a sharp turn, if only a couple of keys were attached to the fob, or my knee touched it, the fob would fall out of the ignition.
