Server room implemented

I used this product as a KVM solution for a server room for a medium-sized company. This works great for my use case. I will buy another one if I need to implement another KVM solution in the future.

Pros
  • Supports Microsoft Intellimouse, Logitec NET mouse, etc.
Cons
  • Available in white only

Excellent value for money: computers and accessories

This supports my keyboard and mouse via the Logitech Universal Receiver Key. I'm using it on 3 Win10 computers and each one wakes up to the correct resolution within a second of switching. VGA quality is the same as straight cable. The cables are approximately 55 inches long.

Pros
  • Supports hot-plugging - Adding or removing connected PCs can lead to a keyboard error or the keyboard is not recognized on the PC side.
Cons
  • Senior Citizen

Works great with KVM switches

I use this switch with three systems: a Linux server, a Linux laptop and a Windows 10 desktop. On both Linux systems will run Debian 10.3 with mate. Mouse and keyboard are connected via a universal dongle from Logitech. Everything just works!

Pros
  • 4-port KVM switch is compact and easy to carry
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Gosh no video but USB works fine

All connected but I couldn't get the switch to recognize computers. I had a keyboard attached and it worked great on the computers I attached. I don't know what happened to the video but I didn't want to take the time to get it working so I returned it for a refund. . I have an old analog 4-way switcher that I still use for video, but I have to use separate keyboards with it because the keyboard connector is obsolete, so I guess I'll continue to make do with what I have. .

Pros
  • Hot add or remove connected PCs for service without disconnecting KVM switch or PC
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
