I really enjoyed these post top lanterns. They are very easy to assemble and they have plenty of space on the solar panels to capture light. The problem I have is for the cost you only get two, and one of them does not work correctly. I've attached a video and a picture to show exactly what's going on. One works for many hours two for only two or so. I asked for a replacement and they sent it right away. The same issue. I like them but I wish both last the same duration of time

These are perfect for a mountain cabin. They light up almost all night (if the sun has been out all day) and they give a soft, cozy light. They are for ambiance, not light to see by. They are an inexpensive plastic but they look quite nice. I don't think you can do better for the price. We really like them - when we drive up it looks like we have lit torches on the porch.

I bought a pair of these in Jan, 5 months ago. Had just replaced my front stair railings and used deck Resore to refurbish the ancient concrete steps. These lights were the crowning touch. They were super easy to install, even for this old, clumsy lady. I was shokced at the "flame" which is about 4 inches tall. Very visible from the street and yes, it looks just like a flickering gas flame of a hundred years ago. I assumed that here in FL in winter they were be lit for 6 hrs or so after dark…

This is my third set. I have one at each gate and it’s just enough light to see the opening and latch. So pretty. May not provide enough light for outdoor sports or activities.

So far, so good. Four of them arrived in good working order. They look great at night and look very much like a frame of an oil lamp inside a glass chimney. Very realistic brightbess. Will update this over time with longer term perfornance.

We installed these on our dock posts. They provide a very cool vibe. They are very realistic looking. They don’t have the most ideal, day long sun exposure, but they come on every night and last til it gets light in the early morning.Great value.

I wanted these lights to mark the gate of the fence. They're perfect. Took about 5 minutes to install two of them. They're not super bright, but that's not what I bought them for. They actually look like flames. They've withstood a few good storms so far and it hasn't affected them at all.

I absolutely love these light. They are great for the money and put off just the right amount of light. However it’s September, bought at the first of August, and one light already doesn’t work. Super frustrating. It seems like nothing lasts anymore

After installing it I was glad but when the night came in they turned on and it was not as bright as I hoped it would as the advertisement picture shows. It seems sturdy tho but I just really hoped it was bright I bought 2 sets and all of them are on but the area I placed it its still dark I have to buy a different type of light now.

I noticed conflicting information in the "answered questions". The product description states 4 X 4 posts, but two separate answered questions state they will fit 5 X 5 and 6 X 6 posts. I love these lights! I mounted them on a couple of 4x4 posts on my property. I have over 100 solar lights on my property and these are my favorite! They have lasted longer than I ever expected them to. Best solar flame lights ever!

These look very cool from a distance, but the flimsy plastic housing makes it seem very clear that they will not hold up to the test of time. I’m going to give them a shot, outside 24/7 and update this review later when they die out.

Love these post lights. Looks like a real flame and the best solar product I have bought. I have them on my bridge, just beautiful. It doesn’t take a lot of sunlight either at 2:00am they are still going so not sure when they go off maybe daybreak. They are very bright and can be seen a long distance. A great buy for me!

They turn on automatically near sunset and there are often a couple still on just before sunrise. I’m impressed by the battery life and the flickering flame is so cozy. Installation is easy and versatile and they blend right in with the darker wood stain. We’re very happy with the quality.

Hubby bought these, and I thought I wouldn't like them because they're not a contemporary/modern design, but once we put them up I was in love with them! They take like 2 mins to install (super easy, don't even have to think about it), and give a gorgeous soft golden "flame" glow. Get these!Will upload better photos once I remember.

These are top notch. They look great and if you want defining lighting this is the way to go. If you want bright show your way. go with white. I did white up to main gate and used these. Look good, classy, and certainly Mark the way. I thought a bit pricey until a got them, then realized it was a good deal. If you’re on the fence. make the move and put these on your fence!

It's a cute little lantern and it definitely works, but it doesn't look like a huge ball of flame like the pictures indicate. It pretty much just flickers, but I like them anyways. A great addition to our gate posts.
