Perfect but not expensive!

I thought the jeweler's loupe was just great. It comes in a very easy to open (but sturdy) case and the backlight is nice. You can switch from one light source to two with a light touch, and it really helps to see what you see. I'm so surprised at how high quality it is for such a low price. I needed this to see signatures and markings on crystal and porcelain items. I'm so glad I didn't spend a lot of money on another one because this device works great and is very cheap. Great tool for rock lovers!

I studied geology and for me the highlight of this magnifier is the UV light option. When you flip it, there's a little switch. Right click on it and two very bright white LEDs will light up. Click on it on the left and you will get a UV LED. It's a lot of fun because knowing that certain minerals glow under ultraviolet light allows me to determine the composition of the rock.
