If I could turn back time I wouldn't buy this. I bought this car because I really want it as a birthday present. And after a week I tried to pull out the capsule shell but it was broken into pieces. So I emailed Illy and they said we'd talk to a car expert about it, but they didn't email me for three weeks. I emailed them again but received no reply for a week. This is the worst espresso machine. It's cheap and espresso squirts all over your counters. I love the taste of illy coffee, but this machine doesn't let you experience it. I used this product and was happy with it until after 6 months it started leaking. I tried replacing the plastic ring in the water reservoir. I removed the scales as they suggested and it continued to flow. I contacted Revain and they said the return period had expired so all they could do was contact illy about the manufacturer's warranty. We discovered this unit while vacationing in Hawaii. It was the coffee maker in our room.
