Good blade for saws, parts and accessories

Cuts accurately and looks pretty solid out. I had a 1/4 blade and it was great until I had to cut through a thicket of metal after which it ruined everything.

Pros
  • 8/12 TPI, 10/14 TPI good for cutting tubes and profiles (OD: 40-150 mm), 6 TPI good for cutting solid bars
Cons
  • Not trendy

Works better than expected.

I bought this to use on a Shop Smith band saw. It fits perfectly and at the lowest speed it will cut through a 3/4" sheet of aluminum like butter. Can't comment on durability yet but it's working for now.

Pros
  • 14/18TPI, 24TPI are suitable for cutting tubes and profiles (outer diameter less than 20 mm)
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Good blade for the price

This is a decent blade. The price was right and while it's not premium stuff, it seems like pretty good stuff. The length has been slightly changed, but is still within the adjustment range. Just make sure you draw correctly. I don't have a tensioner, so I set the tension by eye. Lift the guides about 4 to 6 inches off the table and press the disk. The blade should only deflect about 1/4 inch. I've also used the "guitar" method and plucked it until it made a good tone. Do not use more tension…

Pros
  • Ideal for cutting soft iron materials only
Cons
  • So far so good
