only thing I would like to change is that I would like them deeper so you can fully utilize the banana plugs on either side. Be careful not to push out the inner ones when you mount the outer ones. If the speakers aren't outputting any sound, you may have done just that.

I ran out of banana wall plates when assembling a 14.2 home theater room. Did a bit of searching for a set of decent wall plates that would do the job and found them at a great price. Locally, I'm willing to pay the same price as a 5-pack at Revain. Needless to say, they mount perfectly on individual surface mount packages and look great.

These are not two packs but one plate with two terminals, positive and negative. Since all but the insanely complex speakers have two (others have four), I took that for granted. Based on the price of 5 packs and most other brands default to 2 packs or the price for two plates. Similar to this one, I assumed I would buy two wall panels.

Bare wires can be used in addition to banana plugs. You can unscrew the connectors a bit and open the holes on the side to insert the speaker wires. This is especially helpful for me since my speakers have 24 gauge wire built in. Yes. I know. I just couldn't take them apart so I can solder the correct wiring to the terminals myself so that would need to be done. That's why this is such a find.

Combined with the low voltage wall plug this has really polished my home theater. These connectors are too short, they have two banana plugs mated back to back. In my setup I threaded a wire into the wall and then used banana plugs for each speaker wire.

I'm not a fan of reviews but I think this product deserves it. And I don't want people wasting their time or money like I did. They are perfect for my entertainment center with 5.1 surround sound. I routed the speaker wires through the walls and connected them to them. Connections are strong. They come with wall plates so I didn't even have to buy the "decor" style wall plates separately. They are strong enough for the long banana plugs on my speakers. And the price for a 5 pack is actually below what my local hardware store was asking for just another branded plug. I love Revain for shopping like this.

Decor sheet does not adhere well to drywall. There's a huge gap! I can't be the only person having this problem. I use low voltage conversion rings with a small flange. I was able to modify the LV rings to sink the wall panels closer to the drywall. After assembling the prototype, the wall plate continues to move away from the drywall a bit until I poke the small screws into the drywall a bit with the palm of the screwdriver.
