Seals Like Magic! best in my review

After trying this gasket tape, my plumbing issues were finally resolved! It was incredibly easy to apply and provided an airtight seal that has held up well over time. The tape's pliability was a big plus, as it allowed me to work around tight corners and odd shapes with ease. The only con was that the tape was a bit difficult to trim cleanly due to its stickiness, but that was a minor issue compared to the tape's effectiveness. Overall, I highly recommend this gasket tape!

Pros
  • Effectively seals gaps and prevents air and water leaks
Cons
  • May require professional installation for best results

For several years I had a wood stove that worked very well. We've found that even if you close the vents completely, there's still enough air in them to burn well. We also found that the room was often chilly and suspected the sealing around the fireplace and wood stove was not good. Once I inspected the oven and found that the seal on the doors was missing, disappearing and sucking in air. This tape solved the problem and now when not in use the doors are airtight and we're warmer. It was easy

Pros
  • Gaskets
Cons
  • High price

Seals wood stove doors well.

You can't go wrong replacing dried gaskets on wood stove doors. I have a 2 door Timberland that started smoking when the doors closed and that fixed the problem. I bought that and the rope thinking the gasket on the stove would be round... but it wasn't, so one roll wasn't enough. My oven has gaskets on both the doors and the oven itself with overlapping metal edges for a tight fit. You really need cement for the panel gasket to do the job properly and Rutland in the gasket tube worked great…

Pros
  • Hydraulics, Pneumatics & Plumbing
Cons
  • Can't remember
