This is my first experience with a shell case. The case was easy to put on. But every time I move my computer there is a small gap where the sleeve connects to the laptop. I'm not afraid the case will fall, but it doesn't always feel 100% secure. It attaches to my laptop like a globe, it's thick and very protective, I'm not a fan of Apple colors and this change was a nice change

Same as other two piece cases but twice the price. I have another Incase that is much higher quality and I feel like I paid full price to protect this item. Definitely not worth it.

For an inflated price that is said to be better than fakes, this was an extremely cheap and fake-like suitcase. When I have it on my laptop it doesn't even sit flush. That's a big joke. At the moment I'm too lazy to return it and I think it only works against scratches. But wow that's bad. The fakes are even worse.

Good cover. I would give it 5 but I'm not sure if it's waterproof but it protects from scratches and dust. I'm very careful, so I can't say it protects against falls.

I purchased this hard case after successfully using another model on an older MacBook Pro. As the name suggests, it just works. The case itself consists of two parts, the top and bottom, and they are fairly rigid. It is lightly textured and translucent. Waterproof? It is itself waterproof and will not be destroyed by water; but it doesn't protect your MacBook from water in a useful way. However, it protects the beautiful aluminum surface from scratches. One of the clips holding it to the MacBook has been damaged through normal use, but not enough to affect its purpose. Great for travel. Can increase the overall temperature of the Macbook when running performance-hungry functions as it insulates the aluminum body.
