Not original Palo Santo

I have been in Palo Santo all my life. This wood does not burn or smell like the original Palo Santo. I am very disappointed in this purchase.

Not sure if this is real Palo Santo?

In my experience, Palo Santo is quite aromatic. They were mildly scented and sort of smelled like someone had just sprinkled cinnamon on them. I'm disappointed.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • No color required

Only half is real for incense and incense holder

Half palo santo, other half regular wood. You can tell not only by the appearance, but also by how dense the wood feels and how it burns. Palo Santo has a sweet smell while regular wood just smells like campfire.

It smells like firewood and I'm pissed!

I'm rewriting this BC right now, I'm pretty upset, I've lit one of these BCs, I've run out of the good ones I haven't installed or ordered yet and my whole house smells like a fireplace ! Now my last house burned down and I still have nightmares so this stench in my house sucks all night long! They shouldn't smell like that!

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • A little bit of odds and ends

Doesn't smell or burn like Palo Santo, strong smell like an air freshener

Not sure what type of wood it is. It burns like regular wood you use in a fireplace. The smoke and smell of the smoke is strong and suffocating without the really subtle, sweet, soothing palo santo flavor. Wooden sticks can be dipped in a strong scent as it permeates the room simply by being in the box, similar to those Glade plug-in air fresheners. I DO NOT recommend this product as it does not look like the real Palo Santo. I have requested a refund through Revain.

Sticky like honey when burned. Why?

They smell like burnt wood which made me pick them up and see that they looked very wet which confused me when I touched them, they were very sticky like maple or honey and smelled like plain Wood. When I open my bag to retrieve these two boxes, they smell like regular palo, so I never gave it much thought. I believe some of them are true and some aren't, maybe I have a mixed bag of wood, at least they're all from the earth, right. Everything is fine and I will still keep my order, but sellers…

❤GLORY❤ on Homeware

I've been in a FIGHT for a minute now. It seems like every Palo Santo I've found and truly loved has always lost quality and authenticity. I'm very glad I tried this one. At first my mailbox smelled like pure magic with this Palo Santo in the package. I was ready to be disappointed because I thought it would smell different when lit, but NO! That is serious! I don't have the right words for the vibration these sticks emit when they burn. But I REALLY LOVE IT! I've even turned it on with my…

UPDATE: Faith restored after receiving pristine wands as promised!

**UPDATE: I received a message from the seller with an apology and a free replacement offer which I have accepted. This time the chopsticks were nice and intact and smelled as wonderful as they should! The weight received was as promised and our confidence in Unizoco and their product was restored thanks to their prompt and polite customer service in addition to the great sticks. ** The product image is misleading - it looks like you understand what's in the image, but you really don't. You get

  • It's great

I decided to take a chance and I don't know what to think

Reviews on this product are very mixed, some people swear it's fake and others say it's definitely legit. According to a Wiccan blog site I found, Palo Santo is 1) endangered but the forest is recovering and 2) doesn't smell right when harvested from a living tree - it must be harvested from dead wood. I'm not sure what to believe, but I asked a question about the harvesting method on this point. One thing that will really help buyers feel more secure is a little more transparency on the part…
