Excellent Product, Best in Shocks, Struts & Suspension

I was able to measure to get the right length but had to estimate the weight I needed. I ordered 40 lb racks and they worked great.

Pros
  • Open Length: 20"; compressed 12"
Cons
  • Quick Guide

Holds engine case in shocks, struts and hangers

Used for my boat's engine case. I can finally lift the lid slightly and it stays up. It just depends on the right strength.

Pros
  • Pair of Red Hound gas lift brackets
Cons
  • Mostly good but...

Great Product: Replacement Parts

I was able to measure to get the correct length but I had to estimate the required weight capacity in pounds. I ordered 40 lb racks and they worked great.

Pros
  • Stroke: 8 inches
Cons
  • Slightly Crumpled

Works Good - Shocks, Struts & Suspension

I made a cover for the back of my UTV to keep dust out. The cover weighs about 35 pounds and they work great. If you don't buy a replacement don't forget the mounting brackets.

Pros
  • Open Length: 20"; compressed 12"
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
