If you work at the "last " level, you NEED a

I've owned it for over thirty years, in fact I've had several variations, but my choice is the 3 inch t-shirt. Square version. I am a retired FINISH carpenter and have worked on 7,000 square feet of fully finished floors without cutting out the required 6 inch round bronze plates to cover the outlets. I've worked on 3 1/2 houses. ONE MILLION just for assembly I always keep a 0.5mm pencil and a 3" Incre square tee in my tool bag

The nuts are the wrong size! to measuring and layout tools

FIRST I want to say that I love Incra products. But today a tiny T-rule came out, and it contained the wrong nuts. This has happened to others before, and this is complete nonsense. A product can only be good if it has the RIGHT features. I will be replacing the nuts and it's no big deal for the quality of the Incra tools. And I will buy more but I was very frustrated that I couldn't use it right away and I need to fix it to make it better. I have purchased several products and this is the only

My Tiny T came up with the wrong nuts

I love the Tiny T. It's a good accurate product. The only problem I had was that the package contained the wrong nuts. When you receive the product, you must collect it. That's easy. usually. just two knurled screws that go through the blade and two nuts that slide into the aluminum profile (red part). In my case, the thumbscrews were 10-32 threads and the nuts were 8-32 (the next size down). So I couldn't get the thumbscrews into the nuts that came with the square! I had two nuts with matching

I've only used this about a dozen times in the last month for a single project. For marking I use a 0.5 mm pencil. I like the accuracy, the function's ability to draw a perfect parallel line with an edge. Some complain about "too weak", on the other hand I like this option for reasons of flexibility. Although it bothers me with flexing and warping if not handled properly. I love how I can make a perfect circle (up to about 6 inches) without having to search for round objects around the house to

The best rule, period, for small things of course

But it can also draw long lines. I bought a 12" kit and really liked it. Only problem was the 12" T-slider is flexible (thin steel) and awkward for the small measurements you take most of the time In fact my favorite part of the kit was the 90 degree ruler. It's excellent. I use it most of the time instead of more. It's stiffer and holds its shape better than the big one and is just as accurate. It can be used in all ways that a ruler can be used on, but it's also the easiest way to draw lines…

Handy size and weight, affordable accuracy

I will not waste your time repeating the advertised features of this tool. If you're reading this, you probably already know the quality and features of Incra. If you don't know, visit their website to find out more. I particularly like this particular model for its small size and the way it locks securely onto two surfaces. It fits snugly in the breast pocket of my shop apron. (Marking tools should always be "on hand") Japanese Shinwa squares are also great for marking and measuring, and I…
