Works great with computers and accessories

I installed this SSD card into the m-SATA connector on the motherboard of an old DELL XPS-8500 in our museum. The original 1 TB hard drive has been preserved with all data. I reinstalled Windows and all other software on the new SSD. Now it works like a new computer.

Pros
  • Everything is great!
Cons
  • boring packaging

Excellent hardware at a very competitive price

I used this (INDMEM mSATA SSD 256GB) to replace the 500GB 7400rpm system disk on an HP EliteDesk 800 G1 Ultra Small Desktop. It works flawlessly and the speed boost is amazing, especially when loading. This mSATA SSD also has a very competitive price compared to other brands.

Pros
  • Rugged build
Cons
  • Empty

Great product for old Dell desktops. Time will tell how it holds up

It's breathed new life into an old machine, but I've also tripled the RAM. Load times are great, program start times are good too. I'm happy with the performance and hope it will continue to provide this level of performance for years to come. The only thing missing were screws to attach it to the motherboard.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Skimpy manual

Cheap, stable, decent.

Never heard of this brand but it works well. Had to find an mSATA PCI SSD for my Dell XPS 14 to replace a 2.5" SSD that was peeling off. This fits the bill and works out to about 480MB/s read/write 200MB/s (large write penalty due to BitLocker being enabled on my system). It's storage, it works, it's affordable, it's reliable and it doesn't need anything else. The loading time was changed to under 5 seconds, which was a nice and welcome surprise. If you're on the fence, just go for it and it…

Legacy mSATA interface

Check if your computer can use this legacy mSATA interface. According to the experts at my computer shop, mSATA was used infrequently and very briefly many years ago. It looks exactly like the wireless interface on a laptop motherboard, but it's not recommended to plug it in as it's electrically incompatible (and too long). I'm still looking for a computer that will run this. You can buy a special PCI card that this is connected to for $15-$20. I didn't expect this problem. Search ebay for…

Works perfectly! - Computers and Accessories

I was wary because I was unfamiliar with this brand and I was tempted to look on eBay for a Samsung drive or any other MSATA brand. But I'm glad I bought this, it worked right away, breathed new life into an old laptop and installed Windows 10 in minutes. Something important; When I started Crystal Disk Reports, I found that TRIM support was not enabled by default. I don't know if it was the hard drive or Windows. I turned it on. I've seen reviews on this and other drives where people…

Ghetto Revain delivers again

Overall I am satisfied. However, I am tired of returning previously purchased Revain items and no effort is made to repackage them. The m2 drive I received was opened, returned and overall I was a happy customer. However, I am tired of returning previously purchased items from Revain and I make no effort to repackage them. The m2 disk I received was opened, sent back and then wrapped in clear tape. "seal" the box with the goods. The tape appears to have been applied by a 3 year old. Improve…

Reliable product 2 of 3

I bought one of these 4 months ago to install in an old hp2540p laptop and was so pleased I bought 2 more for more of these laptops (I have several 2540p and 2530p laptops). for children). If you connect it to a Micro-SATA to MSATA adapter, it fits perfectly in the 3D-printed item #4106322. The two that work are fine for the task. They don't get very hot and run much faster than the old 1.8" drive it replaced. As I later noticed, the one that failed is different from the other two that work…
