I was wary because I was unfamiliar with this brand and I was tempted to look on eBay for a Samsung drive or any other MSATA brand. But I'm glad I bought this, it worked right away, breathed new life into an old laptop and installed Windows 10 in minutes. Something important; When I started Crystal Disk Reports, I found that TRIM support was not enabled by default. I don't know if it was the hard drive or Windows. I turned it on. I've seen reviews on this and other drives where people complained that their drive was fast when it was new and then slowed down a lot over time. Most likely, TRIM was not enabled. This should apply to any SSD. So if you buy this (or any other SSD, find out what TRIM is if you don't know, see if it's enabled, and enable it if not - it's not hard at all). This ensures faster operation of the drive.
