I like this product except where the buttons are. When you iron your hair and close the iron, you will turn it off or increase or decrease the temperature if you are not careful. Decided to leave, not worth going back. I'm just careful

I have very thick hair that is naturally wavy. I recently cut my hair short so I needed a thinner hair straightener and I love this one. It heats up to 455 degrees but don't keep it hot and makes my hair really shiny. Doesn't frizz and one pass through my hair straightens it.

I tried it once but it just doesn't close tight enough to hold the hair while straightening. I've had a lot of irons and this just doesn't work for me. I have pretty thin hair so this might work with very thick hair but it just doesn't hold my hair up.

Good iron. However, the instructions say just plug it in and turn it on - the 'on' button isn't listed in the instructions. I've clicked the temperature window over and over again to no avail. I found that the gold stripe in the middle is the power button, but I didn't see anything on the iron to suggest it was the power button. Otherwise it works fine.

Temperature and shut-off controls are touch sensitive and located where you hold the iron. It's good to straighten, but if you wrap the ends or curl your hair, it spells disaster. With every turn or movement, I lower or raise the temperature. Or I just disabled everything together. Didn't realize I had to look at the reviews for a basic flat iron. Will have to return. Tried twice and what an annoying and dangerous feature. He got up and I felt my hair start to burn.

Zero stars! I recently bought a Conair Infinitipro iron and was very disappointed when I first used it. First, the iron never felt hot or warm or anything like that. I just felt like I was running my hair through a straightener and of course nothing happened. My hair was still very curly. Also, the hinges on the iron creaked every time I squeezed the plates. Bought to replace my John Frida Frizz-Ease straightener which I have owned for years and which has unfortunately been discontinued. Found this EXACT model and works great! Heats up quickly, the display is sharp and visible, the best part? As it has rounded edges it is PERFECT for styling to give me the waves and curls I love. To be honest I want to buy another one to have on hand if this one fails in a few years!
