Perfect for the price!

I had Infinity Kappa speakers in my car 20 years ago and I am very glad I chose them again for my 2006 Extended Cab Silverado. I finally got my amp perfectly tuned with these panel speakers. They won't give you big bass in the back, that's not what they're there for, I have a 12 that takes care of that. They are crystal clear and will injure rear passengers if turned on at full volume.

The dash speakers in my 2002 S10 finally fell apart after 10 years. They were Infinity Reference and I was very happy with them. So we're looking for new speakers to replace them. I came across these Kappa 4x6 versions. Because I liked the Reference series so much, I ordered them. These Infinity Kappa 4x6 speakers sound great. Very detailed. Not bright at all. The product fits in the rear upper cab corners of a 1990 GM truck. (GMT-400). You will need self-tapping screws or a homemade bracket. They don't fit in the corners of the dash as the 4" speaker is offset to one side of the 4x6 hole which is very shallow and narrow by default. I opted for the higher end 4" kicker pickups that came with adapter plates from Crutchfield. I would still order from Crutchfield if I were you. Very comparable prices to Revain and they send you mounting plates and…

Best 4x6 replacement I could find.

I proceeded to upgrade the front dash speakers on my 1996 GMC rally van, which requires you to drop the steering column and remove the entire dash from the car, a all day job. a set of Pioneer TS-A4670F speakers from Crutchfield.com which turned out to be a huge disappointment as they sounded poor and failed after a month. This meant I didn't take any chances with the next set of speakers as I had to pull the entire dashboard out again. After reading a lot I settled on these Infinity Kappa 4x6…
