Description of πŸ”Š Infinity Primus PR6512IS: Exceptional 6.5" Two-way Multi-element Speaker Set

Patented Plus One Polypropylene Woofers - Polypropylene cones with up to 35% more radiating cone area than other cones in the same class provide higher sensitivity, increased low frequency output and better tonal balance. Edge-Driven Tweeters - Edge-driven tweeters deliver wider dispersion and smoother high frequency response with increased power handling for high- and mid-frequencies. True 4 Ohm Architecture - True 4 ohm architecture with low impedance voice coils give the amplifier room to deliver peak power providing stronger and clearer sound with better depth and detail. Infinity speakers have to undergo a testing process that would destroy lesser speakers. Infinity freezes them, bakes them, shakes them, blasts them with ultraviolet light and drives them at full power for days at a time. Voicing of Speakers - Speakers are individually voiced to assure high quality audio versus β€œoff-the-shelf” manufactured sound. This means that specifications as well as speaker characteristics are considered when tuning the Infinity sound.

Excellent sound quality

I installed them in a 2005 Chevrolet Express van, not in an ideal acoustic environment and they still sound great. Without amplifier, but with good power and bass. Nicely packaged and easy to install. I highly recommend.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Hard to say

good speaker. in Car Audio

I'm out of date on makes and models. My last car stereo came out in 2010 but Infinity has always been an incredible brand so I went with these inexpensive speakers. They are alright. The sound quality is good, the bass is not as expected, but there are many other things to consider, such as the installation location. Air etc. For the price I love them

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Mostly good, but...

Not like before.

So I had a couple of Infinity speakers ten or two years ago. In fact, I still have a home subwoofer that weighs a ton and still sounds great 25 years later. I was completely disappointed with these Infinity car speakers. They were too high, and no matter how I adjusted the EQ, they couldn't get a decent mid or bass. Sorry Infiniti, they're going back to Revane.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Unreliable

Like I had a mini subwoofer

Great sound, great pressure, great durability, almost like two separate mini subwoofers in my car. I installed them in the back doors of my Pontiac Vibe with a cheap $36 BOSS Bluetooth head unit. I gave them a rough treble and bass tone test and they are amazing. Excellent value for money and I would highly recommend it. I will be ordering a few more to infinity to replace my factory front speakers.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Great replacement for the OEM speakers in my 1999 RX300

Great sound quality, definitely better than the OEM speakers in my car (Pioneer Specials). Installation was easy once I found out they had to be mounted directly to the door panel using the clips provided. I also needed adapter cables to go from the car plug to the standard speaker terminals. I live with a speaker that has been buzzing since day one (it had a break in the cone), I would like to replace it sooner.

Pros
  • Several competitors
Cons
  • Protection

Quality, looks, definitely sound

I've tried two other brands. I assumed it was the wiring. Decided to try Infiniti. I also stuffed the backs of the speakers with fiberfill. This is for my 2012 Jeep by the way. All were custom made. That's not true, these speakers came with everything. Others had gaps between the speakers and the faucet. The rest 300W-400W. Infiniti 165w. It was $15 more. The bass quality is perfect. Another thing, the store I went to was asking $299 for 2 speakers and they didn't sound as good as these. I…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires outlet

Not the endless brand you knew.

I bought these speakers and JBL CLUB6520 6.5 inch 300w together to compare one to choose one because both have the same price. As I was disappointed with the JBL performance compared to my 16 year old factory GX470! This one arrived late but thought about installing but when I pull out the speakers this infinity has a weak magnet that really throws me off If JBL can't even get past my factory how can this one I'm a huge fan of the speaker infinity, especially from Kappa, but since both are…

Perfect for OEM Swap

These are perfect as a direct replacement for the factory speakers that came with my 2018 Nissan Rogue SV. The sound quality is significantly better than the speakers originally installed. I didn't want to pay an installer or go through the hassle of installing a component system, which would mean running wires, installing a power amplifier, and accessing a stereo for that. Also, I wasn't interested in "shaking the rafters with the bass". I just wanted to upgrade my speakers with the stock…
