I bought this to replace a worn out Dewalt XRP.

I bought this to replace a worn out Dewalt XRP drill bit. I also bought a Milwaukee 18V combo kit to try them side by side and ended up returning the Milwaukee. This drill is only SLIGHTLY heavier than the Milwaukee, but a lot more powerful (to measure with and not have measuring gear), and it feels like a real tool compared to plastic competitors. I'm really at a loss as to why the Ingersoll Rand 20V tool line isn't more popular than they are.

Excellent drill! There is no need to look any further.

Wow! While expanding my IR collection, I replaced two 19.2v Craftsman drill bits with this guy. As soon as I unpacked it, I knew I had made the right decision. This is so far beyond the quality of Craftsman cordless drills that I can't even begin to explain it. The first thing that struck me when using it is the power available. The torque he exudes is unbelievable! You have to be careful when drilling through metal to either put it in low gear or engage one of the clutch settings. because if…

Advanced power station for professional use.

I'm an electrician and I do everything from basic and finishing jobs around the home to commercial work and light industry and I really need a drill that can do more than just generate raw power . I recently bought three drill presses for the same price to compare: Chicago Pneumatic CP8548K, Milwaukee 2803-22 and this D5140.
