Model 206 ordered, delivered TWICE by Amazon Model 206T

I ordered the 206 twice. BOTH times Revain sent me the 206T. For those who don't know, the 206T can be programmed with a timer. I don't want it to be less than perfect for my aquarium. Model 206 adjusts high and low frequencies. Jump out when it gets too hot. Model 206T switches off at high temperature but is programmed with a timer. I do not want it. I only wanted the heater for my pool. I don't know if this is an isolated case for me, but it's enough to keep me from ordering this from Revain.

Pros
  • Can display 3 different details at the same time such as: B. measured temperature, low and high temperature.
Cons
  • Some errors

Probably one of the worst products I've ever bought.

Out of 3 units, 2 burn out almost immediately. The room temperature display was stuck and the unit appeared to be shorted when on. I use a non-inductive load, a 600w ceramic heater on a short cable, as there is little or no inductive feedback, which is a major cause of these controllers failing. However, the device starts to get very hot, which means that the switching device is most likely the triac off and on too much. I have a lot of design experience and I suspect that the control logic can

Pros
  • Maintains desired temperature for seed heating mat, aquarium heater, brew heater, etc.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

ONLY suitable for freshwater aquarium

A simple product that meets all my needs for keeping my tropical freshwater aquarium warm enough. It lacks the bells and whistles of some of the other options, but does everything you need if you want to make sure the aquarium heater stays on and the fish is cooking. I'll probably seal the probe in some sort of tubing and silicone, but I like that it's removable and can be replaced if it breaks in the future. Pretty easy install out of the box. The display is intuitive. The only real complaint…

Pros
  • Heating thermostat Heating temperature control.
Cons
  • Crumpled
