Parts not needed: Fuel filter

They are terrible quality. I had 2 broken nipples when I first put the fuel line on. I have a very flexible 1/4" fuel line that slips through with little effort. but both nipples came off and turned into garbage!

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

It's leaking! Extremely dangerous!

Installed as expected. Leak after one minute of operation at 30 psi in an electronic fuel injected snowmobile. He sprayed gasoline all over the muffler and nearly burned my garage. Very dangerous. Please, do not use.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Contact seller

Both fuel filters had cracked inlets.

First, I make money repairing golf carts. I installed the first filter and noticed a fuel leak where the fuel line connects to the filter inlet. It turned out that the entrance had a crack. Then I installed a second filter, it was exactly the same. Cracks and fuel leakage at the inlet to the filter. A complete waste of money. I've never had this with simple in-line fuel filters.

Pros
  • Quality assembly
Cons
  • There are downsides

These filters are completely useless and potentially dangerous.

I received two of these and the first broke during installation. Thinking it was just a coincidence, I installed the second one. I was able to install it without damaging it, but the next day it broke in the exact same spot (at the junction of the nipple and main body). Luckily, my engine didn't even have time to warm up, so the raw gas that leaked from the broken filter didn't ignite and burn my bike. I have installed dozens of these built in filters on many bikes, go karts and lawn mowers…

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • Replacement availability

DO NOT USE THEM, THEY WILL EXPIRE IF IN CONTACT WITH GASOLINE!

DO NOT BUY OR USE THIS! Even if they were free. They do not withstand gasoline and decompose within a few days of contact with gasoline. This thing nearly left me stranded in the middle of nowhere and could start a fire. They are not made of fuel-safe plastic. Seriously, have you made a plastic fuel filter that degrades and falls apart when exposed to gasoline? Of course. It makes sense. I put one of these on my motorbike and rode out of town where there is no cell phone service. Then I smelled

Pros
  • High marks for tester support and durability
Cons
  • Some shortcomings
