Great tripod: camera and photo

Solid as a rock. It will easily handle my gimbal, heavy 500mm lens and D750 camera body. Note that it stretches very high. Photos with nails/studded toes adding another inch or so. Background machine for the scale. To shoot, all I have to do is lengthen my shins a few inches. Please note that the tools and nail ends are well hidden in the inside zippered pocket.

WOW! This tripod is amazing!

I was looking for a new lighter and taller tripod. I've been lugging around a heavy aluminum Manfortto tripod for years and have always wanted to switch to carbon fiber. So I went looking for an inexpensive but well-made carbon fiber tripod and came across the INNOREL RT-80C. When I received it I couldn't believe this tripod was only $190. The build quality was like something that would cost $1,000 or more. The legs feel strong, the tightening mechanisms feel well built and secure. It is…

If you need movement at an angle, don't buy this tripod

I want a tripod with adjustable legs for low angle shooting. This tripod seemed like the perfect solution until I got it. The tripod is solid and looks nice and tidy. However, the locking mechanism of the tripod legs does not work. You cannot lock your foot at any angle, there are only two or three angles you can lock your feet at. The problem is that only one leg can actually fix more than 1 starting position. So yes, just one leg position, or you have to open them all wide to the max…

  • Great for outdoor activities

Amazing features. Quality and price

When I first opened the box I thought they had sent a heavier (and more expensive) RT-90C. This device is solid and the build quality is excellent. I bought it to shoot landscape, wildlife and action movies and I believe it will be a great tool for me. Tripods of this size and stability without a center post are much more expensive, especially with the half bowl leveling feature. I added a leveling adapter to my old Alta tripod which came at the expense of the extra weight and wasn't as easy to

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Repair

I was looking at some heavier and more expensive options but wanted something really light for hiking. The 80C is light, but it actually weighs 3 pounds 13 ounces (vs. the advertised 3.3 pounds). However, since it reaches 60 inches and has fairly thick legs, it's still very good. The other main reason I chose this unit was the bowl head adapter that came with it. My only complaint is that the bowl head locking handle is small and has a tiny knob that makes it difficult to grab and tighten. The…

Perfect travel tripod

I was looking for a travel tripod and this Innorel RT-80C fits perfectly. I give 5 stars for what I wanted. I have larger, heavier tripods that I love, but they're too big for air travel and too heavy to carry around. I have an upcoming flight and wanted to bring a tripod, but my other travel pods have always left me without support and stability. I started looking and found this Innorel RT-80C. It's similar to my favorite Gitzo, but scaled down a bit. So off I went. My experience exceeded my…

Mixed review good for camera and photo

Firstly, the 'upgraded' (Innorel) Articse tripod is 'inexpensive', at least when compared to the price of almost identical brand name sticker devices . Room for Improvement: One thing that really annoys me about this product is that it only has a foam grip on one leg and the grip is pretty short. In terms of balance, the handle isn't long enough to comfortably carry a tripod. I'd happily pay a few bucks more for longer foam and have it on all three legs. It would probably cost the manufacturer…

  • dubious purchase for elderly people

Whistling Wonder

I am an avid outdoor and travel enthusiast and amateur landscape photographer who has been using Giotto's carbon fiber travel tripod for about 2 years now. Good tripod but I wanted something stronger, more durable but still acceptable for hiking. Also something that would look a little more "professional". One issue I had with the Giottos was the center speaker and the ability to go extremely low in volume when needed, so that was a consideration as well. However, any "professional" carbon…

First off, the 'upgraded' (Innorel) Articse tripod is 'value for money', at least when compared to the price of almost identical brand tripods. I'd happily pay a few bucks more for longer foam and have it on all three legs. It would probably cost the manufacturer $5. Looking around the internet it seems almost…

Great tripod!

This tripod is a great tripod for the item, not to mention it's under $200. I shoot with a full frame Nikon D850 and all my lenses are f/2.8 or faster, so I put a lot of weight on the tripod. Before this tripod I used a small aluminum tripod, very compact and light, with center column. I found that when there was a little wind (or just a light breeze) I got all sorts of vibrations, not to mention I still had to bend down to see through when the center column was fully raised and my legs fully…
