Innovate Motorsports 3736 Stainless Exhaust Review

I used this to plug an unused exhaust sensor connector on my downpipe. Works perfectly. Be sure to use anti-seize compound when installing exhaust system parts. I didn't need a stub, just a stub. But you never know if I'll decide to change something.

The picture shows the hex key needed for this connector and plug but that is definitely not the case. However, it was still useful for unplugging the plug I opened on my downspout, so it did the job. I haven't used cork, but I'm sure it's a good thing.

Not like the photo. The connector is a stainless steel screw with a hex head. Still works, but not as nice as pictured. Also, the plug does not have a pilot skirt on the underside like some others, which would make it easier to center and weld to the drilled hole in the exhaust pipe.

Have now bought 3 of these and none of them match the advert image. I chose them to weld into stainless steel motorcycle headers and liked the clean look of the round head connector. The connectors are only used for setup and the bike mostly uses plugs. UNFORTUNATELY all three arrived with unsightly hex plugs instead of the Allen plug pictured. I welded this into a 304 SS exhaust for my Subaru and it does exactly what it's supposed to do. I use it with MTX-L wbo2.4/5 instead of 5/5 because the fork comes without a washer/spacer. All O2 sensors I've seen have a reusable washer that comes with the O2 sensor. I think a gasket makes for a better seal and less chance of the candle cap coming off. Maybe I'm wrong.
