Great learning tool

I work from home a few days a week and am in the office the rest of the time. My dog is a good listener, but sometimes he feels like he has to "guard" the house fiercely, like when the trash can isn't doing its job. I'm in sales so I'm on the phone quite a bit and this was a great tool, quick mute no barking and beeping worked great now it doesn't even need a beep. It made my work day MUCH better, love it!

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Minor issues

Great gadget to stop happy barking!

So far this little device does an amazing job! I have 4 young chihuahuas and they love to bark. Usually when someone knocks or someone new comes in, but it's very annoying. The first time I tried it they stopped barking immediately. it was crazy Now that they're getting ready to start barking, I quickly grab this device, press it once and shut up. It saves lives and improves sanity lol! I hope this continues to work for you.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Good but not great

Only batteries required

After installing the batteries, I tested them on our Chihuahua mix. I lit her and although she didn't like it she started barking again. I held the button longer and used sounds, she really hated it and stopped almost immediately. With our lab mix, the light works for her and I don't have to make a sound. However, sometimes our Chihuahua needs both, but most of the time only one will work. It uses almost no battery and I still have the original batteries when I first installed it. I don't use…

  • Stylish and modern design

It really seems to work

We took a rescue dog with us - he is a very sweet, affectionate child, but he has problems. One of those problems is that he completely breaks down when he sees another dog. We've trained a bit and he's a lot better than he used to be, but he still has breakdowns. We tried different options to supplement the training - calming chews that didn't work, a shock collar that didn't work either. I decided to try it and was expecting to send it back but it actually seems to work. We took him on our…

I think it's really important!

I saw a similar device at a friend's and thought it might be worth a try. I have two dogs. The person is very excited and barks loudly when someone knocks on the door. Another barks when hearing conversations at a neighbor's house. The words "don't bark" and then a quick press of the button seem to get their attention and stop barking, although "knocking on the door" is slightly more effective for the barker. I know from their reactions and the twitching of their ears that they hear a sound…

Pros
  • Inspires confidence

Great workout tool with long lasting results

What you need to know is that this thing absolutely works. It works quickly and if you follow the very simple tutorial you don't even have to use the widget once the air conditioning is set. (*-Not all dogs are the same; your approach may be different.) Like others, I was skeptical. It's not expensive, and why should I trust ad claims for quick and easy results, right? But in just a few minutes I successfully distracted my dog from her intense bark outbreaks and taught her to come to me…

Works well on some dogs but not all

I've had two of these in a few years. I only bought a second one when I couldn't find my old one anymore. The original had no instructions, so all you had to do was guess how to use it. Unfortunately, this does NOT work for some dogs, but it does for others. I have one dog that is terribly sensitive to noise and another that doesn't seem to respond (not respond at all) to using this device. This is a dog that needs to control its barking. If I use it on her indoors, the other dog will run away…

Pros
  • It's amazing
