Aquarite No Power Problem Solved

This solved the No Power problem with my Aquarite chlorine generator board. The pins were slightly wider than the original part, but I was able to carefully bend one of them in and solder it on. Following other tips I've read about this repair, I cut the old part off leaving a few millimeters of open contact and soldered it to these posts. Unless you have a heavy duty soldering iron it will be impossible to desolder the original part. One thing I didn't do but wish I had cut the pins about…

This little $8 part has helped me and saved me a lot of money. My Hayward Aqua Rite system stopped producing chlorine with no evidence of a problem. Called Hayward Helpdesk. What a waste of my time.
