False advertising! Not certified as motorcycle armor!

They are advertised as CE Level 1 (EN1621-1:2012 Level 1) but when I received them they were certified as knee pads (EN14404:2004+A1:2010)), So not for motorcycles.

Pros
  • Trousers and Chaps
Cons
  • Only available in white

Protective gear

The protective gear took a while but it fits perfectly. Not sure who gave this a negative review but they were wrong. Very well made, fits perfectly, easy to cut. Most comfortable inserts I have ever used and I will be buying a set of elbow pads for my jacket.

Pros
  • Protective gear
Cons
  • Very expensive

You have to straighten them and make sure they are flat before you can zip up your pants, and you have to constantly fiddle with them all day because they'll slip into your pocket and fold up on their own, especially after you've used your bag ( and mess up the alignment). I would rather use the thicker pads that came with the pants because I don't…

No CE foam, hard silicone, but comfortable and breathable.

This is a hard silicone rubber compound, not a shock-absorbing foam material. They are large which was my main reason for buying them as for a 5ft 8in man most of my motorcycle jeans are made for taller people and the knee pads usually end up against my shins or the top edge rubs against my kneecap. So they probably absorb less impact than CE marked foams, but at least they cover the right parts. So far I prefer the flat version for comfort and camouflage, but I haven't ridden very long so I…

  • Protective pants

  • There's trouble
