The PSU supplied by Revain was crushed in transit. I could have tried to use it but the lid was pressed too hard, bent a lot and pressed against the top of the toroid. I emailed the supplier address provided with the product and they responded very quickly with a few options. Problem solved, I'm a happy customer. The power supply is easy to use, has adjustable wattage, and appears to be inexpensive.

Wire connector labels embossed into the metal above the screw terminals. They are very difficult to spot and are slightly offset from the terminals themselves. Be VERY careful to connect the wires correctly. I accidentally connected the neutral to the ground terminal and the line to the neutral terminal and something burned out. I ordered a new one and it worked great. Adjusting the dimmer doesn't dim much either.

I bought 4 12V 240W DC power supplies for my LEGO room lighting project. Each of these $23 units replaces two (supposedly) 120-watt (10A) 12-volt DC power supplies that cost $20 each. I installed it and it has been running 24/7 for six months now. I use it to power a 16 foot section of LED lighting. The fan works constantly, is not temperature-dependent. This fan is very loud. I installed this in a technical room with air conditioning and other noise-cancelling elements. It's so loud that I can even hear it through the ventilation and air conditioning system in the technical room. It reliably delivers the required power.

Bought "used" (saved a lot of money on a new one), works great! I use it as a power source for car repairs/projects. When diagnosing a problem with a car, sometimes you have to leave the key on for a long time. This (of course) kills the car battery, and when the battery is already old/weak it becomes a real problem for me, the guy who has to fix the car. It was set a little high at 12.7V but it is easy to set. The rest works well enough. Very good for 3D printing at a slightly higher power than the standard 360W. For me this means that the fan works a little less often. This is not a product specific issue, but 4 out of 5 stars because of the fan noise. I wish they would implement something less noisy. Best cooler, best fan? It could be better.

This power supply comes highly recommended. High-quality workmanship and practical connections. With this device I run 14 short LED strips in the master cabinet. The LED strips serve as accent lighting in the cabinets and are controlled by 5 separate dimmers. The 10 amp power supply drives the LEDs with ease. I temporarily installed a power supply with two LED strips and it worked very quietly and coolly. The compact dimensions of the device make it easy to hide.
