Works as described. Happy with it

cornice received today. To hang the curtain on a rod, I tried separating the two pieces in the middle, but it didn't work. I came here and watched their videos. I just had to remove the left side and attach the curtains. I put them on, put the end back in place and stuck it right into the window frame. I was worried it wouldn't work since I have tracking in the window frame, but everything went smoothly and seems solid. There were two screws included, but I didn't need them. This is a good…

Cons
  • thoughtlessly

Terrible product. It is believed to be a train cornice. However, the tensile strength of this product is terrible. The installation looks beautiful after you install the curtain and attach the rod to the window frame as instructed. However, the whole system hangs so unsteadily that a light wind can knock it over and that happened to me. During the week the cornice/cornice on the window frame broke off several times. Even the manufacturers don't seem too sure about their product as they include…

disappointed best in single poles

With new windows to install, I didn't try this product until after the return date had passed. It looked easy enough so I was sure everything would be fine; and it looked beautiful in the box - never thought there would be any problems. I tried to test it before putting the curtains on and my preliminary test showed it would work fine; It needed a bit of maneuvering, but the concept seemed acceptable. Read the instructions before disassembly to install the curtain because. Not me. Guilty. The…

chance seized. and it was great!

Ideal for a student apartment that does not allow marks on the wall. It was easy to install, there are instructions on the pole (3 numbered steps). Does not require force, the rated torque is enough, one person can do it alone. Make sure you don't lose any of the internal plastic parts though, as it can't be repaired - it happened to us, but we found the missing part. I'm not sure how long this will take since the internal screws are plastic (for that reason I didn't want to use a lot of force…

Great replacement for screw-in hardware

I ordered two of these 28-48" bars for my 46" wide bedroom windows. The pole connected easily and I was able to raise the first pair of curtains by myself in ten minutes. Excellent! I had problems with the second pole. for him. I think I accidentally pulled it unevenly and that's why it got stuck, so be careful when removing the end of the rod! I was able to attach blackout curtains to it with no problem. I've had her for five years now. Days and every day the curtains opened and closed and…

Why so many bad reviews?

Update October 29, 2019: Stock is still holding up great. First Rating: People who write bad reviews seem to assume it will fall off easily. It seems to hold a pretty decent weight if you follow the instructions correctly, but it's no magic. Curtains on mine weigh about 2-3 pounds so they seem to hold them up easily. Anything heavier and you'll probably need a drill. Although the installation was tricky and required multiple attempts, re-reading the instructions you will realize that you may be

Cheap and spirited but works

Received today and collected with some effort. Basically, I had to take it apart, figure out how it works, and then put it back together. Once I figured out how this mechanism actually works, it wasn't so bad anymore. My window is about 46 inches so I had to use a smaller pole stretched almost to the max, it's not that strong. It will be suitable for our purpose, that is, to insulate a window that we do not use. We will not open and close the curtains otherwise I would break in and pierce the…
