I have a Sony dual din installed on my Prelude. The Sony radio did not come with a trim that would match the head unit. This kit has a double din radio finish and fits perfectly.

the instructions for this are shockingly inadequate. It took me a few minutes to even find information about my car and all the steps and even then they miss such much needed information. Additionally, the mounting hardware doesn't even work on most parts. How is it delivered this way.

I have a lot of experience installing stereo systems, but I could not figure out how to install the product using the instructions provided. I wasted my money and just used the bezel around the front of the display. I had to tweak the details and add unexpected details.

Took some time to figure out the details and get them fitted perfectly but it's nice and clean. The outer frame snaps into place normally and pops out a couple of times with a strong second audibility punch. Bracket screws in metal shaft ok wish it was a little more durable but great for the price

I've already had a bad day with the wrong plug I had to go get as I was supposed to finish the car the same day I open it up and get two left hand side brackets as I did I don't have time to reorder and I've already spent too much money on the wrong fork. I ended up cutting the bracket to make it work. Poor quality control by Scosche, I may have received a bad batch. but it was still an inconvenience, otherwise it works fine.

The problem with this product is the din hole size. The size is such that with a motorized bezel, the plate rubs against the frame when you open it. it's just too tight. On my application (Pioneer 4100nex) after installation I noticed that the motor stalled trying to get to the DVD/SD slots. The good thing about the kit is that if you have a "fixed" non-motorized double dyne, the corners are VERY tight and it fits very well. Fixed head, non-motorized double dyne. First of all the seat belt was great. Solid connection and correct wiring with supplied color codes. The zippers and crimp connectors were a nice touch. For the 97 CR-V, however, the fit is snug but not perfect. First, the manual in it points you to the wrong tabs for the '97. This is easy to fix, just follow the old tabs from the stock radio or find slots in the cavity. Second, the width is too big. This product did not install my stereo properly. My stereo floats freely in the dash when this item is attached to my stereo without dropping anything to actually make it stationary. I can literally pull my stereo out with a fingernail. Not worth the money or the wait. Go to your local auto or car audio store.
