I've bought several different outdoor camera mounts to find the best one (not flimsy or cheap) and I will be buying these mounts when I add more cameras. They look like they're going to last.

With a few modifications this mount will fit the security camera I was planning to mount on my garage wall. The quality seems good and it offers good customization. Putting the camera in a corner made the job easier!

Worked well for what I needed. The only thing that confuses me is that my camera has a round base and it looks a bit odd attached to the large square base of this extension. Also, I didn't want my cables to be visible, so I had to enlarge the center hole in the base.

It's reasonably well built and certainly looks good. My issue with this and every other camera mount available is that the manufacturers don't seem to have any experience with actually installing security cameras. This is real aluminum that will not rust underneath after years of outdoor use. The tube has an inner diameter of about 2.5 cm, which is great for passing cables through to hide the cable. The color is somewhere between white and beige. Casting has some downsides, but that doesn't matter. The only major flaw is that the set screw that attaches the head to the pipe doesn't hold the head very tight.
