Does not tolerate strong currents well

The product looks solid, but it is not suitable for regular use. I could smell hot materials every time I used a 1500-1800W (12V) load. In the end it failed and the photos show what it looked like.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • There are some nuances

Solid fuse holder/fuse

Looks very solid and good quality. Unfortunately this is not the right form factor for my particular project. I like the design, it just didn't work in the space I wanted and it's not the product's fault. I particularly like how the cable terminations are designed for quality crimping and the ability to use ferrules.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Large and robust

The fuse holder is strong. I used adapters for my 2 gauge welding cable, they fit perfectly. The holder itself is large but looks very attractive and has a good design. The holder came with a 300 and 150 amp fuse. I ordered the 150 amp version so I replaced the 300 amp version that was installed in the bracket. I ordered 2 of these to switch power from my main battery to my auxiliary batteries in my trunk. I am satisfied with this product and would recommend it.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • No automatic

This device uses standard fuses. It works great when you switch from wire 1/0 to wire #4. The lid screws on rather than just snaps in, which I really like, and doesn't leave much room for shorts or dirt to collect. The base is very strong compared to other devices I've tried that break when screwed in. I also think it's good that the fastening screws are on the outside on all 4 corners. There is no chance of the screw internally loosening and shorting to ground.

Pros
  • Rugged design
Cons
  • I won't say anything

The terminals are excellent

So at least I got an extra backup from the deal. Don't try this simplification and end up with one that requires the terminals to be crimped on the ends of the cable. This type of wire clamping mechanism is unreliable and breaks down easily. My friend overtightened the clamp and the screw slipped out of the channel. There's also no easy way to get it going again. The screws on the lid were also easily torn off. Rather, the block was broken by our attempts to repair it. As soon as I realized it…

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Some errors
