One of my worst purchases! Should have read the negative reviews before buying. I bought this pan for making cheesecake in a slow cooker. I used the Fat Daddio pan which works well but figured this pan would make it easier to remove the cheesecake and ensure the cake was intact and pretty. After using several foil bread pans (three pans fit IP6) I decided to try this for turkey meatloaf. Everything was fine until I finally opened the lid. Half of the juice spilled which made cleaning a lot worse as both the insert and stand needed a good cleaning, not just hot water drained. The meatloaf shrank like a tinfoil pan and was easily removed. then the cleaning started: juices spilled all over the counter, had to completely disassemble the bread pan to clean all the nooks and crannies…

I'm *really* glad the long handles on the stand are NOT flexible! (They flex.) The whole block is thick and strong and has nothing to do with the silicone vegetable steamer I've tried using as a skillet before. A good height too. Not too big, not too short. The handles on my 6Qt LUX stick out for a comfortable grip and I was able to easily bend them back to put the lid on. The bread pan has a very small "knob" so I'm having a hard time getting enough leverage to easily slide off the plug and I have some concerns about what a mess it would be if I tried to push it to remove while it is full of food. .There is a slight smell when unpacked. I can't tell you how happy I was to try this pan. In short, although the idea is great, the design and functionality needs a lot of improvement. Yes, I'm in the Instapot Cult.
