I met a couple at the dog park recently and they have one of those treats for my pup. They told me they were actually "food toppers" as my little boy wasn't eating the way I'd like so I thought I'd give it a try. OMG I'm glad I did. Definitely the best solution I've found. Our kittens are a bit picky, they are 11 years old and a bit overweight. Both have digestive problems.
