Cat approved for cats

I can tell you my vet approved this and so did my kitty. I got a little kitten at 8 weeks old and gave her this food straight away. She's growing up so healthy and honest, although I've never tried it on anything else, this food hasn't bothered her tummy at all. I got her on November 1st, now December 15th and she is starting her second bag. The perfect size for their little ones mouth and I left them in for a year as recommended and then switched to Instincts on raw for adult cats. She loves…

Instinct is the best brand money can buy

I have an older cat and kitten who both eat instinctively and love it. You are very healthy. Instinct is so good because it contains so much protein, most of which comes from animal products (cats aren't good at processing protein from other sources). It also has a decent amount of fat and very few carbs. It's not optimal, but just as good as dry food. I mix this with real chicken and liver that I cook for my cats so their diet matches what they should be eating. Think about it, humans and cats

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Nothing here

Gives my cats soft poop

I really want to love this food. I think Instinct Raw is a great quality. I slowly transitioned my cats to this food over the course of 2 weeks. They ended up eating 50% Instinct Raw dry cat food and 50% Nulo wet food. Her loose stools never went away. All my cats are vaccinated, dewormed regularly, FIV/FeLV tests are negative, I get probiotics regularly and I've done PCR panels (routine testing) on all my cats so I know it was food. I tried feeding her 100% dry (this feed) but the softness…

Hey Mikey! He likes it!

My very picky 16 year old kitten is very picky! Always had been. He'll eat for a while, and then BAM! Won't touch things. Switches from wet to dry and back again without warning. He gave up wet food a few months ago and started eating pellets which his 11 year old "brother" loves (grain free and high quality) and BAM! all abandoned. He had a glass left over from his previous meal and he picked at it, eating just a little and leaving the rest. I've seen this and read a review or an answer to a…

Great food! dry

**Update: I really should wait longer before posting a cat review. They tend to take longer to get used to new foods and toys than humans. The more my 8 month old cat eats this food the more she appreciates it and now wakes me up early in the morning for breakfast! Also, I am very impressed with the customer service that contacted me after my first review. Both my cat and I are very happy with this cat food :)*** Oh my god. I have to share my surprise at the quality of my shelter kitten's coat…

Kitten admitted, helped heal stomatitis

My kitten loved it and most importantly, it helped heal his stomatitis! a problem with the mouth. It looks like it's about 80% or something, hey! During a visit to the vet, my vet informed me that my kitten has stomatitis (severe inflammation of the gums) and will likely need teeth removed in the future. I certainly can't afford to spend thousands of dollars on this, so I did some research and found that some cats got better after changing their diet. I am currently feeding store kibble, so I…

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Minor issues

I live in a small town with a terrible overpopulation of cats. People are constantly bringing in boxes and baskets of little kittens that they "found" or don't want. We had NO active group or organization willing or able to help, so I took it upon myself to start a one-man effort to rescue some of the kittens. In the last three years I've found other people to help me with my "cause" and when I have the money I won't spend as much as I do now to rescue little kittens. But that hasn't happened…
