🔬 Innovative inTank Media Basket: Enhance your Oceanic and Coralife Biocube 14! Review

I just installed my media basket (Biocube 14), before the installation the water was greenish, an hour after the installation the water was the clearest it has been in a long time. Very easy to install, I bought everything that was listed on the website as well. I've been postponing the purchase for over a year, I regret not buying it sooner! My fish is happy!

At first I was wary of buying an expensive piece of plastic but after reading all the reviews I figured it would be a necessary upgrade for my Biocube 14 to help with water quality for my nano reef. The media reservoir fits perfectly in the center chamber, although you'll need to cut off some of the plastic between the first and second chambers for it to work. I could even cut it with the tank and worked with little fuss.

InTank is required for your Biocube. My biggest complaints are the cost (but it's hobby related) and I wish it could fit a little tighter in the second chamber. I have an older Oceanic Biocube so it may not fit perfectly. My other dissatisfaction can be isolated from my use. I wish the middle chamber was bigger. I run Chaeto as a mini retreat and it's filling up that space fast. I don't need as much room for a piece of filter thread in the top compartment, and my chemistry doesn't fill the…

This is an amazing product. Fits on the back (loosely). Things to know before you buy: - You have to cut the plastic on the back that directs the water to the back - There are basically no videos showing how to do it or even what it needs to do at all. - It is more convenient to use a paring knife, cut straight down, bend and break off the valve.
