I have purchased several of these adapters over the past few months. If you need a dual-port Gig-E RJ-45 card for a nas4free, Centos, Ubuntu, or Windows server, this is a good value, and almost every relatively new operating system has one driver for it. They work great and (!) everything I've bought has both standard and short mounts. Yes, a small Phillips screwdriver and it will fit a height limited mobo :-). Must give five stars.

My PC hardware was not compatible with Windows Server 2016. After installing this card, Server 2016 automatically installed the drivers and it started working great. It was easy to assign one of the two ports as the main network port for the server and reserve the other for Hyper-V virtual machines. would recommend.

Works great for the latest version of pfSense! Definitely recommend! If it's about the NIC, it's really Intel or driver issues. For anything virtualization, firewall, VLANs, Linux, and aggregated bandwidth, you can't go wrong with this card. Speaking of which, it works like a champ with my home VLANs and level 3 switching via pfSense!

This device works great with pfSense which is why I got it. I needed a card with two NICs and a low-profile bar, and I got both. It works very well, and as said, the drivers are available in pfSense and detectable without problems, at least in pfSense 2.2+.

I bought 2 cards. Both maps disagree, which is interesting. In my opinion the ones I've installed so far after looking at them. doesn't look like new. I think they gave me a used card (like I EVER thought it was a fluke). It seems to have been cleaned up in a few places, but it definitely doesn't look new to me. This NIC is deprecated because Intel does not support link aggregation/merge in Win 10. Group/Link tab is missing from map configuration settings. I've been trying to add this port in a team with the newer Intel I219V Ethernet port built into my Coffee Lake (Z370 Extreme 4) motherboard. When I tried this, a warning appeared that functionality would be broken.
