Bought to upgrade an old ECS 945-GCT-M v3.0 motherboard. The old processor was a Pentium IV-HT. I had to flash the bios but this new dual core processor runs at the same clock speeds but runs twice as fast due to the dual core processor and more cache. An available update is highly recommended.

I had this particular motherboard and thought I would buy another one if I had the chance. I installed the processor and memory and installed them into the computer. That works great. i can't win

The processor has been with me since 2022. Accelerates perfectly, perfectly stable even at 4GHz! Now it works at a frequency of 3.5 GHz, pulls GTA-5 without brakes and lags, an average of 36fps. I changed the power supply, cooler, and mother 2 times. It makes no sense to take a new computer, just install an ssd, then it will be relevant for another 4 years. It was replaced by a new top-end i7, not much faster, but to be honest, the difference in games, in everyday affairs is not big…
