Overall pretty good, an equal number of pros and cons.

after one year and two months (warranty year) the computer crashed. after a manual reboot on the ASUS MAXIMUS VIII EXTREME mother, the red CPU indicator lit up . the CPU never overclocked and the settings did not change either. For more than twenty years I have been dealing only with Intel. collected not a single dozen computers and servers on Intel chips and processors. and I have never seen Intel processors burn without any manipulations with voltage and frequencies. this is a BIG joint of…

Pros
  • For the average person, it's a good choice.
Cons
  • dried thermal paste instead of solder. the temperature rises unbelievably. a second load throws from 32 degrees to 65 and just as quickly back. They are BURNING! even without your overclocking.

Never buy this product.

The processor as a processor is good, as a processor, but in terms of reliability, this is an absolute failure. Crystal processors would have been more reliable. If you do not have dropsy (and then I would have thought 5 more times), do not take it in any case. Wait for the next generation of Intel, in which they will eliminate this feil. Its pros: The highest performance, significantly outperforms the competition from previous generations in games with worthy graphics cards. Starting with…

Matches the description completely, very satisfied.

I bought a boxed 6700, I can’t hear how the cooler works, even if I lean my ear against Cooper - there is still no noise, I overclocked it through Aida, the temperature reached 55, but the cooler continued to spin quietly. I put the HDD as a temporary solution - as a result, all performance rested only on the hard one, this percentage should only be used with an SSD (cap). It is mainly needed for application development, often you have to run heavy emulators and keep a bunch of tabs in chrome…

Pros
  • performance, multithreading, 14nm, it makes no sense to compare with the old laptop i5), a good built-in video card, low power consumption will be a plus.
Cons
  • I was afraid to take the oem version because of the possibility of broken legs and other jambs, I had to take a boxed one, a huge minus is the price.
