Best thing I have ever used, highly recommended!

For a long time I chose a replacement for my "old man" C2D E8400. I looked at the FX 8230 - the presence of eight almost full-fledged physical cores was captivating, but the gluttony of up to 200W in load, the need for excellent cooling and a fairly expensive motherboard with a serious processor power subsystem reduced the expediency of buying "to nothing" . I was very limited in funds, but I wanted to take the most technologically advanced product for the least money. On some forum, I…

Pros
  • Very powerful, cool compared to competitors, yet relatively affordable, does not require an expensive motherboard.
Cons
  • Not!

If you want to save money and not pay extra one and a half pieces for the videocomre - buy Xeon E3-1230v2. Just look at the boards that support it. I have a simple MSI Z77A-G41. By the way, bycomnjuring with the multiplier and the base frequency (which is 10 MGz by default), you can easily increase the performance by 10-12 percent. In short, in terms of performance/price ratio, it has nocommpetitors among eight-streams. If someone immediately thought about the top eight-core Vishera - see…

Pros
  • If I could give more than five stars, I would absolutely! 1. An almost complete analogue of the i7-3770 - not counting the unnecessary integrated graphics, which the Xeon E3-1230v2 simply does not have. If you do not drive, it lags behind 3770 at the standard frequency by 5-7 percent. 2. Excellent price: the difference from 3770 now is about 1500 in favor of Xeon. 3. As a result of the lack of graphics - reduced TDP, equal to 69 watts (instead of 77 for 3770). An ordinary boxed cooler would be quite enough - if it were there :).

One of the best offers, glad I bought it.

I don’t know why everyone buys i5 and i7, when there are Intel Xeon E3 series processors, they are much cheaper, and in fact they are more productive than the first one, and I bought my second one for 6850 plus 2 sticks of 4 gigabytes of ddr3 1600 MHz memory, raised it to 1800 all flies) I use it together with the radeon hd 7870 test 3dmark11 I attach there you can see how many points in physics scored percent andcompare with i5 and i7 and drawcomnclusions. The benchmark screen is uploaded to…

Pros
  • Intel Xeon E3-1230V2 1) Low tpd 69w 2) Cheaper than intel intel core i5 and supports Hyper-Threading, that is, plus 4 more logical cores 8 meg cache 3) frequency 3.3 plus turbo boost up to 3.7 mine overclocked to 3.9 GHz enough I think =) 4) I put it on the old MSI Z68S-G43 and everything started up just before that I flashed the BIOS)))
Cons
  • No deficiencies found)

The system started up the first time on the MSI Z77A-G43. Before that, there was a system on a 4-core phenom II B20running at a frequency of 3.6, in games there was a slight increase in performance, the memory was overclocked to 2022, it only ran up to 1600 on a phoenix, in Crisis 3 the processor load decreased by 2a times (76 to 30) , in 3D mark physics increased by more than 2a times. "goodbye blue screen", now if I assemble the system in the future, then this system will definitely be on…

Pros
  • Excellent processor, does its job with a bang, great for people who still can't decide between core i5 or i7. - cold - 4 cores / 8 threads (HT) - L3 cache - 8mb - the same 3770, only without the possibility of overclocking - I7 for the price of I5 - idle temperature 26 degrees on the hottest core
Cons
  • The processor is not suitable for overclocking, it was possible to set the maximum frequency through turbo boost to 3.9

The processor temperature in idle is 26.27, under load 32.34 on the tower cooler Arctic Cooling Freezer 13. I am 100% satisfied with the processor. An ideal option for those who a) will install their own video card b) are not overclockers, but want maximum performance at a reasonable price / quality ratio. Pros: 1) Shows the high performance of Core i7. 2) Intel Turbo Boost Technology is working correctly. 3) In the series of processors ending in "0" there is no video core, but this is…

Full compliance with the manufacturers assurances, high quality.

Parrots shows exactly the same amount as the i7 2600K. And if there is no difference why pay more. Why overpay for an unnecessary video core. Excellent percent. Different pros: Fast, cold, relatively inexpensive. With the Depp Cool Ice Warrior cooler, the idle temperature is 24 degrees, under load 34. Has some cons They say it's hard to find a motherboard for it, I didn't have any problems with it, I took the GIGABYTE GA-Z77-DS3H. No problem.

The best product, from those that I have viewed, I advise everyone!

Together with the GA-H77-DS3H motherboard and Kingston Hyper 8GB memory, it shows stable operation, without freezes and blue screens, the seven was installed in 15-20 minutes. When loading Internet movies, it shows the temperature within 30 degrees, in games it rises to 41. Pros: As already mentioned: I7 for the price of I5. Cold, really cold, productive, stable. Has some cons There is no possibility of overclocking and built-in video.

Great processor internals

A good alternative to the i7-3770 if you don't need integrated graphics. Just make sure your motherboard supports the processor.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Something's wrong

Intel Xeon E3-1240V2

Purchased through Revain. Use with Asus P8B-WS Mobo and AMD Radeon 6950 on Win7/64 with 16GB ECC RAM. Very fast and solid. I use Sony Vegas Pro 11 and Steinberg Wavelab 7. Very happy with this combination!

Pros
  • Internal components
Cons
  • not reliable

Incredible CPU on internals

This CPU is running my remote server with a high data intensive application. It works without any problems and the price is right, highly recommended for your server.

Pros
  • CPU processors
Cons
  • Bad impression

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The quality was generally satisfied, there were minor shortcomings.

that everyone writes that he is cold? it has thermal paste from one place under the cover and, as a result, the temperature regime is like that of AMD965 BE 4Ghz. the computer has not worked yet, and the maximum temperature of 49ΒΊ is recorded under Zalman CNPS10X Performa. accelerates an additional 100mhz on the bus (100->103). better in terms of the number of instructions than 1230, but behind 1230 v3 - although you don't want to overpay another thousand for their presence. i5 2500k / 2550k

Pros
  • Intel
Cons
  • intel, thermal paste under the cover, scalping in a year

I really like the product, it fully meets my expectations.

I got it for free, they gave it away just like that. Assembled MidiTower Zalman Z3 Plus ATX case, Intel Xeon E3-1240V2 processor, Zalman CNPS5X Performa cooling system, Gigabyte LGA1155 GA-Z77-D3H mother, DDR3 2-4GB 1600MHz Kingston Hyper X memory set, old 650ti 2 gig vidyuha, screw is also old for 1TB. 3 day flight is excellent. The idle temperature is 28-30, the load is 37-40. 3D mark Vantage perf P21531, Tanks 110 FPS.

Pros
  • Cold and fast.
Cons
  • Look at the mother who supports him. It is difficult to find a worthy mother under Xeon.
