It seems to do exactly what I need it to! My horse balloons to the max so I often struggle to get to the first hole before ending up on the fourth hole on each side when moving and the rubber helped a lot. It's also really nice to be able to hose it down after a ride!

Harness fits my big pony perfectly. It has a pleasant effect of elastic buckles, which greatly speed up fastening. The elastic "doubles" so you can be sure it's strong and should last a long time. Comfortable non-slip feeling. I've only used it a few times since I got it, but so far I like it.

I bought two of these saddle straps. EVERY horse I have used has had excessive bruising and swelling in the sternum area which has interfered with training. I have been training for 40 years and have not had this problem with any other harness and I believe the problem is with the thin nylon strip down the middle of the strap as my other straps don't. The girths are now hidden somewhere in the corner.

This is my second. I bought one for a 'regular' horse that I have ridden. Came back for one to match the big bangs I'm working with at the moment. I like this strap because it's inexpensive, washes with soap and water, and doesn't rub. I have a Wintec so I needed a black strap which is harder to find than you might think. I can now use my saddle on both large ponies and larger horses. I'll probably have to get a third when I start draft horse riding.
